Apelian Utility Work Fleece

Put this through its paces immediately working on early spring plant sale setup. Love the cut- it’s roomy in the shoulders which allows great range of motion and tones down under layer sleeves twisting around the shoulders/upper arms. (Mad props for that, the feeling gives me the willies.) Not windproof, of course, but dense enough to notably cut wind. I’ve never had a breast pocket on a jacket, but they are very convenient and I plan on using them too much. No complaints, would buy again. Only note is that it doesn’t have a draw string around the bottom, which might help keep wind from blowing up the bottom.

Versatile jacket that’s good for mild days (40-50 degrees). The fit is boxy and roomy. I normally wear size 12 or Large tops and I think I could have gone with a Medium. If you’re in between sizes, I would go a size down unless you want to wear two layers underneath this jacket.

So I ordered this jacket with pretty high expectations and it's an even nicer jacket than I thought. By far the nicest fleece I ever owned and I have had a lot of jackets. I'm 5'5" and about 185. I am just a regular old mom body not fit or anything and the large fits me with a little extra room which is perfect so I can wear flannels and stuff under it. Almost backed out and ordered the extra large but I'm glad I didn't because it would have been a little bit sloppy looking. Anyway the jacket is more substantial than I expected and it looks really cool and I'm pretty happy about it.

The woman I gave it to LOVES it. I've seen her in it every day! She is a Farmer and its weight and ease of motion are perfect.

Incredibly warm, slightly larger than other size small fleeces which makes it great for layering up. Nice deep hood, durable material and fleece is much nicer than expected based on other brands. Love it!
