Pockets Are A Safety Tool

For women in manual occupations, excellent pocketing hugely contributes to performance. When your pants are a tool on the job, and your tool is inadequate, you can’t do your job well. Tool belts can drag on the waist, especially if the pants are not well-fitted. This is uncomfortable at best, and a dangerous tripping hazard at worst, encumbering the wearer, and dragging the pant leg down.

We began with 3 women: 2 with dirty knees, 1 knee deep in textiles. Co-Founders and landscape designers Kyle Marie Begley and Kate Day wear-tested all our original styles, ensuring pocket placement, durability and flexibility were present in all our pants. Our 3rd co-founder, Product Development Director Sara DeLuca, came from the denim industry, where she spent decades developing relationships with women-powered apparel teams around the world.
