For women in manual occupations, excellent pocketing hugely contributes to performance. When your pants are a tool on the job, and your tool is inadequate, you can’t do your job well. Tool belts can drag on the waist, especially if the pants are not well-fitted. This is uncomfortable at best, and a dangerous tripping hazard at worst, encumbering the wearer, and dragging the pant leg down.
Inclusive design features, like a tapered waist that moves and bends with her, instead of gaping at the back.
Abrasion testing has proven our stretchy strong fabrics are 30-40% stronger than our competitors.
Women's pants traditionally have maximum 5 pockets with half the space of men's. Dovetail Workwear styles each have 7-14 deep pockets.
Our manufacturers follow the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles, where human rights and the environment are given equal weight. Thanks to these partners, strength and stretch are baked into the fibers of our custom fabrics.
Thousands of tradeswomen in all occupations, from electricians to journeyed carpenters, put our pants through the test on the job-site for months or years on end. Their feedback informs our design details and fabric choices.
Hard work deserves pants that work as hard as the wearer. Pants that are safe, strong and look great. Since the beginning, we’ve worked on the perfect fabrication of Flame-Resistant workwear for women. We’re proud to announce the first 3 styles have arrived.
