Breathable, protective, and well-fit: the Dovetail Sunbreaker is lightweight coverage the likes of which has never been seen before. This jersey hoodie provides chemical-free UPF 50+ protection from head to hand. Its cotton blend is naturally soft and ultralight– no more stuffy windbreakers or stiff balaclavas shielding you from the beating sun while stripping a roof or deadheading dahlias. True to its work roots, reinforced elbows add durability and thumbholes mean sleeves won’t slip. An integrated hood with a cowl offers head, neck, and face coverage from sun or the dust. Shine bright in Hi-Vis Yellow (ANSI Class 1), Dovetail Blue, or Blade Green.

ANSI Class 1 high-visibility clothing is intended for workers with jobs at a lower risk level, such as in areas where traffic is traveling at or below 25 mph, or the work takes place a safe distance from a roadway, like a sidewalk repair in a small residential neighborhood.

I’m Dovetail from head to toe!

I rarely post reviews on purchases but I just love my Dovetail clothing. They’re comfortable and well made. I wear them at the barn and when I’m out trail riding.

RAD for bicycling

I am a bike commuter and had a run-in with skin cancer last year. Since then I have been implementing more sun protective clothing into my wardrobe and this has quickly become my favorite garment to ride in. I love the high visibility, and the neck coverage. Plus the comfort and breathability! And the thumb loops! You all nailed it. Definitely planning on picking these up in the other colors available for beach trips and long days in the sun. Thanks!!
